All the Stars!!

The Dirt on Ninth Grave - Darynda Jones
Beebs' Review

There aren't enough stars!!!!

The ninth book in the Charley Davidson series, and it just gets better and better, Darynda Jones is killing me. This book picks up from the end of Eighth Grave After Dark, due to the traumatic events in that book Charley has lost her memory and ended up in Sleepy Hollow, New York. She's working as a waitress and has made friends but has absolutely no idea who, or what she is.

Despite the memory loss, Charley is still Charley and manages to find trouble without even trying. She is still snarky and funny and her inner thoughts are some of the funniest things I've ever read. Reyes is still the hottest thing on two legs and it is heartbreaking to see him watch over Charley without her knowing who he is. Cookie is amazing and supportive as always and there is a scene with her in the diner that had me laughing out loud.

I loved every minute of this book and am only sorry that I have to wait so long for the next. The world building is amazing and I cannot wait to see what Darynda Jones has in store for us next.
